The short version: Yabber collects nothing.
Yabber converts your speech to text using Apple's on-device speech recognition and on-device Apple Intelligence. All processing happens locally on your Mac. No audio, text, or any other data ever leaves your computer.
Nothing. Yabber has no account system, no analytics, no tracking, and no network communication of any kind. We cannot see what you dictate — by design.
Your dictation history, learned corrections, and settings are stored locally in the app's own sandboxed container, and only if you keep those features enabled. You can erase them at any time from within the app, or by deleting the app.
Yabber asks for Microphone and Speech Recognition access (to hear and transcribe you, on-device) and Accessibility access (to detect your dictation key and insert text at your cursor). These permissions are used for exactly those purposes and nothing else.
